Direct Digital Control (DDC) / Low Voltage Systems Integration Specialists

We are excited to develop the premier family of Direct Digital Control (DDC) / Low Voltage Systems Integration Specialists in Central Texas.

​

We are currently hiring both novice and experienced and qualified low voltage controls systems technicians. This position consists of the capability to install BACnet MS/TP & IP, pathways, media, connectivity, components, and active equipment. Network cabling, security systems, and A/V techs are also encouraged to apply!

Prospects must be malleable self-starters with focus and a passion for installing standard and code-compliant infrastructure. We are searching for performers that understand the value of an aesthetically pleasing installation while exceeding safety/code requirements and maintaining optimum performance. We are building a dynamic team of extraordinary technicians to perform projects how we want when we want, and wherever the work takes us.

 

Skills and Experience:

​

  • EMT and Rigid Conduit Pathway & Box installation

    • ¾” - 2“

    • CUP, overhead, in-wall, rough-in

​

  • Cable Plant Installation

    • BACnet MS/TP & IP

    • Control

    • Category UTP

      • Cat 5e / 6

    • Fiber Optic

    • Composite

​

  • Installation and termination of control panels, sensors and components at equipment such as:

    • FCU’s, AHU’s, Temp Sensors, Pumps, Boilers, Chillers, etc.

​

  • Experience with manufacturers such as Johnson Controls, SIEMENS, Trane, and Honeywell.

​

  • Installed systems start-up, commissioning, and training.

​

  • Experience with construction software such as Fieldwire, PlanGrid, & Bluebeam.

​

  • Terminate, label, and test a variety of different manufactures' connectivity and associated hardware.

​

  • Perform advanced certification and troubleshooting of installed and potentially existing cable plant.

​

  • Implement the job plan and scope of work as well as perform retrofits and upgrades for existing infrastructure.

​

  • Ability to interpret and comprehend primitive and complex construction drawings prints, including diagrams, and specifications.

​

  • Possess knowledge and experience with methods, equipment, and materials used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of infrastructure.

​

  • The ability to troubleshoot basic electric circuitry including reading and interpreting electrical, control, and special system diagrams.

​

  • A working understanding of low and high voltage AC circuitry including transformers, fuses, breakers, multi-phase power, etc.

​

  • Adept awareness and compliance of current standards & applicable codes (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568B, BICSI).

​

  • Willingness to comply with rules and regulations required in construction environments.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

​

  • Ensure that health & safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times while on-site.

​

  • Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling, and conduit pulling.

  • Fully squat, stoop, or kneel while working.

​

  • Maintain a standing position for long periods while performing repetitive actions such as terminating and patching.

​

  • Capable of working off of ladders, lifts, or within a moveable dust enclosure.

​

  • Ensures that health & safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times while on-site.

 

Typical Work Environment:

​

  • New construction and operating facilities:

    • High Tech / Healthcare / Office / Manufacturing / Data Centers

 

Assignment / Required travel:

​

  • Potential for travel throughout Texas and bordering states.

 

Personal Appearance:

​

  • The technician shall express a professional appearance while wearing an Yetley Co. logo.

  • Preferred appearance shall be void of unusual hand-made markings, piercings, and grooming methods, which would affect the safety of others.

 

Compensation:

​

  • $18 - $55 per hour & OT after 40 Hours Worked Per Week. Compensation based on experience.

    • Entry Level Novice

    • Apprentice Electrician

    • Journeyman Electrician

    • Master Electrician

    • BICSI Technician

    • Communications Technician

​

  • Additional Compensation - Per diem, lodging, mileage (port to port), or flight reimbursement, when traveling for Yetley Co.

​

Requirements

Employment Authorization:

Authorized to work in the United States (Required).

Must be willing to submit to background verification and pre-employment and project substance (drug) screenings.

Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
